WordPerfect/Word Macro Execution - Error processing command

Symptoms:

When running the Sign-It! WordPerfect macro an error message: "Error processing product command - WordPerfect.OLEInsertObject" is generated. Or Word displays a macro execution error.

Fix:

Before inserting any signature, Sign-It! must be run first. By running Sign-It! the Sign-It! application registers itself in the Windows OLE registry. This allows calling programs (e.g. WordPerfect) to know about Sign-It!.

  1. Simply go to the Sign-It! program group and double click on the Sign-It! application which is the icon with the quill and a sheet of paper (or in Windows95 use the Start button in the Task Bar to select Programs, Sign-It!, then the Sign-It! application) to run Sign-It!
  2. You have now automatically registered Sign-It! with Windows.
At this time you may optionally want to check the default configuration of your signature by clicking on the "wrench" icon which is the default setup. Verify the signature and the title block information and click "ok" when complete.
  3. Click on the "End" icon to close Sign-It!
You may now insert a signature.

For more information on the above procedures and signing a document consult the Signing a Document section in the Getting Started guide included with your Sign-It!
