Using
Logo Fonts
Your
Sign-It! Logo Font install diskette will install the logo font and the Sign-It!
Signature Server. The Signature
Server is a convenient way to repeatedly insert the logo, but the entire logo
will be inserted as a graphic box. Due to the complexity of the logo font and
your possible desire to mix the logo with other graphic element you may decide
that you do not wish to use the Signature Server.
Since
your logo font is a TrueType font it is always possible to use the signature
font directly rather than through the OLE mechanism of the Signature Server. To
use the font directly type an “A” in the document (your logo is typically
the character “A”). Select the character and change the font to your logo
font (e.g. the font name on your Sign-It! diskette label). At the same time
increase the point size of the logo, typically 36-48 points is a reasonably
sized logo. Now the logo is treated like any other text and may be combined with
additional text, lines or other graphics.
